Lilli had her "real" birthday on the beach this year!! We had so much fun! Then when we got home we had her birthday party with all of her friends and family that were not on the beach trip!! I can not believe that my baby is 3!!!! It goes by so fast!!

We had a great Easter with friends and family! Lilli had so much fun playing with her Easter presents from the Easter bunny and LOVES her new fish...."bluie and mermaid"... She also moved to a big girl bed this weekend. She is about to turn three so we figured it was about time!! She loves it but it makes me so sad because it is proof that she is growing up and now there is no more "baby" left in her room!

We had such a fun time at lilli's party, thanks to everyone for coming! Everyone had such a great time on the jumper and with the bubble machine. I made lilli's cake from scratch this year- i enjoyed it but I will never make it myself again.

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted but we have been very busy. Lilli was sick for the first time two weeks ago with broncitis. She got better very quick and I was so glad. I could not put her down the whole weekend. That same weekend she kept taking her diaper off and going to the potty and asking for me to put her on there. Every since then she has big girl underwear! I was dreading it but it was the easiest thing i have done with her, i think she was just ready. We are heading for the beach in one week and I am so so so excited!

We had such a good weekend and Lilli had so much fun playing with her friends and family. Lilli and I helped my mom all weekend in the yard. Saturday we were able to see Erin and her daughter Presley and Corri and Lawson and Lilli had so much fun seeing other kids her age! Bless her heart she never gets out. Then she went to BIG church for about twenty minutes and she just could not be quiet so she went back to the nursery. After lunch she played with "Bubba" (william), sarah cris and all her other cousins. We had such a busy weekend that Phillip and I were exhausted and Lilli was still going strong at 9 o'clock.

This past week Lilli and I made easter cupcakes and we both had so much fun. She has always been interested in cooking when we are in the kitchen and for those how know me know how much i like to cook! Also, Lilli went to her first easter egg hunt and she had fun even though we found only four eggs.

Phillip told lilli that we would go fishing this afternoon at Pop's if she was really good and minded us. She was very good and so off we went- the whole time to get the crickets and to my parents house we heard "READY, SET , GO FISHING" it was so cute. Of course she was scared of the crickets and the fish but loved holding the fishing pole helping her daddy!

I had to share our valentines day with everyone. I love to cook as most of you know and I cooked all weekend. I started with valentines breakfast for Lilli and then I made homemade pasta sauce for her supper. Phillip cooked steaks for us and I made chocolate mousse- it was so easy to make and looked very pretty!

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas! We sure did. Lilli loves her car and baby stroller except she does not understand why her daddy does not fit in it. She really wants to push him around. It is hard to believe she is almost 19 months, they grow up so fast. For those who I have not talked to we sold our house in Leland and we are thrilled. It is a nice couple who are about to be newlyweds and starting their jobs--I am glad I can sell it to someone that will appreciate it as much as we did.

Lilli is a daddy's girl and she loves to wear his clothes, shoes, hats and pretty much everything she sees him in. She also loves to lay in the bed and watch Angelina the Ballerina with her daddy. As you can see they both get into it and I am not even noticed!!!

Lilli had a great time this year trick or treating. We only went to a few houses but she had a great time. She was not happy at first but then when we said it was time to go she grabbed her bag and started walking down the driveway-i guess she understood when I said we were going to walk to the houses and trick or treat. Well, for those of you who visit Rachael's blog she was tagged to tell something weird about herself and she has taged me. I really do not know what to say but Phillip could probley tell you a lot more than me. I can not stand for the floor to be dirty. Now that we have wood floors they are dusty all the time and this drives me crazy. I swiffer vac the floor every night. Another weird thing about me is smells. For those of you who know me know that I can smell everything- I mean just the weirdest things. It is really hard for me to explain the smell thing. I really do not know anything else. Oh, another weird thing about me that people are suprised about is that I get intimidated very easily. But I am working on that one so it will not be weird for much longer. I am not very interesting sorry guys, but I know someone who is.........

A day with Daddy

Phillip and Lilli have had several dates together these past weeks and they have gone to see the pigs. This has become one of Lilli's favorite things to do. When she gets in Phillip's truck she starts snorting like a pig, thinking she is going to visit them.

Lilli has become very interested in going to the big girl potty and I am all for it. Here are some pics of the first time she used it and I promise I did not give her the book she had it. After she went then we had to let her favorite baby take a turn. It was hilarious and she was so proud of herself. Also, when I got her up from her nap on Saturday, I walked in and she was laughing and she had gotten her dirty clothes out of her hamper (it hangs on the side of her bed) and dressed herself. She did very good with it except it is backwards!!

Lilli has really gotten into putting on makeup and curling her hair (the little that she has). I am really being watching these days by this little girl!! What is even funnier is that she knows where the makeup goes, the mascara she acts like she is putting it on her lashes and lipstick she puts on her lips.

Well we had a busy weekend and just wanted to share these pics of Lilli with everyone. She is growing up so fast and into everything. Her new thing now is when we change her diaper or get her dressed or clean her up after meals, she will say "NOW" like she is just so exhausted. It is so much fun to watch her do new things. Hey guys, I am sorry I have not posted in a month we have had a lot going on. To start with we are in the process of packing and moving to Indianola as well as trying to get the new house finished, cutting teeth and having a small case of the measles !!! I have been very busy. Lilli has been cutting four teeth all at once and she also had a reaction to her MMR vaccine. Just a little education for you that have not had your childs MMR, they can have a reaction up to 14 days and the 10th day is the worst. She got up Monday morning with 103.5 fever and this was the 10th day after her MMR. She then broke out head to toe in measles like rash and continued to have fever and irritability. I have pics of her but have not been able to post yet. Today was the first day that she was better and back to her old self. This is the first time Lilli has been sick. Hopefully I will post pics next week.

I just wanted to share these with you. Lilli had a pool play date with Grace Tackett and she had such a good time. They both we eaten up by some type of bug so they look like they have chickenpox. They spashed each other and got their first lesson on sharing. They play very good together and we look forward to having many more playdates in the future!!!!

Hello everyone, I am sorry I have not posted in a while but after all the birthday stuff I have been taking it easy. Not too much has changed with Lilli, she now has three teeth and I looks so funny since she only has the big wide tooth on top. She is also walking really good just holding one hand, she is really scared to let go but I do not think that it will be much longer. This weekend we played in the pool and she loved it. The first thing she did was lay back and put her arms around the side of the pool, it was so cute!! She is still talking all the time and loves for me to go around the table and ask her where someone is, she can point out everyone.

Well my baby has turned one and I get so sad everytime I think about it. They grow up so fast. Her birthday was on the 29th which was on Thursday so Phillip and I gave her a cupcake with a candle and all she could say was "Hot, Hot." Then on Saturday we had her birthday party and it was so much fun. She had her own little cake and loved it. She started our with little bites and by the end she had both hands in it. We also got her a singing balloon and she loves it we have to make it play everytime we pass it. She is so funny to me and she is changing everyday. Her new thing now is if she picks up something on the floor she will try and give it to me and tell me "NO, NO" I laugh almost everytime. No, we are still not walking and we still only have two teeth. I am not rushing it but I can not wait to watch her toddle around the house.

Hey everyone, sorry I have not blogged in a while but it has been crazy planning Lilli's birthday and going on vacation. We just got back from Orange Beach and we had a blast. Lilli had such a good time and she loved the sand and water. Her favorite thing was to sit on the edge of the water in the sand and let the water hit her feet. It is amazing how fast they grow. It is hard to believe that Lilli is going to be one on the 29th. I am so excited about her birthday party and can not wait to see her reaction.

We had a new addition to our family on March 7. My brother and his wife had a little boy, William and he is 8weeks old now. Lilli loves children and especially babies. The past weekend the weather was pretty so we went outside and played around in the yard. We blew bubbles and picked flowers. Lilli has started to sniff when we get near any flower or plant. She has also started a lot of other things like pointing to my nose and in a garbled way she says "mommies ose" , she has also started saying "lobe you." It is so sweet to look in the back seat and see her smile at me and say "lobe you" it makes my day. She is not walking yet but she is standing on her own but we are not pushing her to walk I know she will do it when it is time.

We bought Lilli a carseat to just stay in Phillip's truck and she loves it. It is bright pink with flowers all over it and she loves it. She would love the cheap one. She also loves to read books and magazines and she will get mad if you turn the page so she has gotten really good at turning each page. It is so funny to watch, like she really knows what she is looking at. It is hilarious!!!

Lilli has recently started giving "love" to everything. She does it to the flowers, dogs, blankets and anything else she can. It is the cutest thing to watch. These pics were from her giving love to her daddy and her rabbit. She has also started liking to watch The Wiggles on Disney. We only watch this on the weekend mornings when we do not want to get up and running. She loves them and is glued to the TV when it is on. Hope you enjoy.
